Burn out: Transport money

Tags:

As the weekend comes closer we look at different ways to make gold in World of Warcraft.
Now I’m here to tell you a way to make money that is, time consuming, boring and just idiotic.

But something you Should know…
As there are more and more people with the great mammoth that can carry multiple people on his back. We can profit from them. Go to a low lvl area and Spam: “fast traffic for lowbies now available! 50G per zone!)

You’ll get about 2-3 responses on a weekly basis that can grant you 150-500G total. Now this is really boring since he’s just sitting there on your mount while you are running around to the zone he needs to be in.
But as this is a valid way to make money, I am obligated to tell you about it.
So here you are, you gained another piece of information about the gold-making-game we all play…

However I doubt that you’ll ever use it in a time/gold profitable way. (or you crank up the price to 150G a zone)

It’s late and I’m tired.

Tags:

I haven’t played WoW in over a week now, I’m home late from work, then I start studying and I’m just too tired to actually get anything done except listen to music and do my evening “rituals”.

So Instead of starting a pointless discussion (I’m out of idea’s by now)
I’m going to give you a sneak peak on what I’m going to do in the next weeks here on the blog.

First off there is a guest post coming, how soon , I have no idea, but I’m discussing it with the writer, and we’ll have it up asap.
Remember, if you want to give it a try (guest post) just give me a mail at seth.onecopoper @ gmail DOT com
(including weekly posts)

I havent written the next chapter of B2B yet, why not? I’m going to make a video of the AH and auctioneer for the next chapter this weekend.

Since I have time this weekend I’m recording a new podcast, and since I’m so terrible late, I’m putting the old not published one up too for you to listen to. It’s weird and uncut so you’ll have a laugh I promise

further more, I want you all to comment below this post with a subject you want this “goblin” to give his thoughts too. with a subject you want to see me write about. WoW, economical or social, I don’t care, as long as it’s intriguing for the readers.

oh and one small tip: run occolus! the last boss is a loot pinata so be sure to run it! you can sell the gems for extra profit, which turned the dungeon in too the best paying HC in the game!

Friday eve burnout: Guild needs money

This post actually contains 2 tips!

Let’s start with the “obvious” one.
This one is actually for a Guild, or at least a raidteam.
As we are all getting overpowered, older content is getting easier, which means you can actually raid ulduar10 normal with 7 guys, well 7 guys/girls who know what they are doing and have decent gear.
Now that means that you could fit 3 open spots (preferred dps).
My solution: Sell those spots! seriously sell them, I did this once with tsb and it sold like candy!

My advice price:
- 250 Gold (minimum, bare minimum) to get someone through the raid, not including any armor. (just for the achievements people don’t mind paying some gold)
- 100Gold extra for every other piece of gear or a bid system if you are carrying more then one person.
- 1000Gold for a full run, with 1 or 2 pieces of gear that he is guaranteed to have, no matter MS or OS, alt or what ever.

Now you may think like: pish 250G is nothing, okaj thats true, now triple it… we had 3 empty spots remember.
750Gold = 2 free repairs for everyone.
Not including the gear you sell.

A solo tip then, This one I do NOT use, just because it takes time, and well, I was the guildleader so this is pretty impossible for me.

Farming/Crafting for your guild. I know, I know some people do it for free…. Well ok it is your guild, but a guild is just a bunch of people with the same goals. If you can make that goal easier by selling the guild flasks for lets say 80% of the price why not? You still make profit, the guild dies less, everybody = happy.
There is NO need to do it for free, none at all, the only person that needs to do something for free is the leader. since it’s his “baby”, his wish to keep the guild running. I payed all my “farmers” in the guild for the work they did, of course since they loved the guild and to a certain extent me (jk guys) I payed not even half the price I normally pay in the AH. which means our guildbank was filled with hundreds of flasks, armor kits etc etc.

Strange twist on this tip: sell them for dkp…just a thought.

ok thats it for this week, the only thing that’s left behind is the podcast.. and yes it’s still coming this week. more info later today.

Friday eve’s Burnout Old sKool Raiding

Tags: , ,

For those that are tired of the same ways of making money. For those that want something completely else to do, for those that want something different.

How to make gold in a boring, suicidal, ludicrous or other way, this new installment will hopefully cheer you all up with prospects in the future!

Today: Old sKool Raiding!

Yes raiding lvl60 and 70 content, though for different reasons.
lvl60 raids and dungeons drop parts of the first ever made dungeon set and 3 of those (waist, hand and wrists) are BoE, now I know what you are thinking, but seriously they sell! and they sell for about 50-100G a piece, if you are lucky and run MC with 2-4 guys (3 is the best tbh, 2 makes some mechanics finicky) you can get dungeon set 2-3 wrists/belt. that was the first EPIC set and the wrists and belt again are BoE these sell for about 100-200G a pop. Now include this with about 100G you get from the raid itself + another 100G for core of earth, hearth of fires etc. and you get between 250 and 500G for a run of an hour, This isn’t the “best” way to make money but it is fun! if you want some old gear for your self (I got my full dungeon 1 set on my hunter) or want to get an achievement or just want some fun, this is a good way to make an extra buck

lvl70 dungeons/raids are yet again a bit different. These drop a lot of blue/epic BoP items so money doesn’t come from them, but the bosses drop about the double amount of gold, a lot of greens on trash and some misc’s all around. The money is about 200G if you are running with more 4 guys, about 250 when you run with 3.
Other reasons to run this content is to get some really really easy reputation. If you want to complete your skillbook this is another reason to run these things. (Don’t forget that those patterns etc, can make you money if your lucky) Or do you want a new mount? go for the impossible drops and get a phoenix, a horse, a raptor etc etc…

As said the money isn’t all that, but it still makes you a nice buck, and is guaranteed to push your skills if you only take a min. of persons.

So if you want some gold, some fun, some skill testing, some “bonding” in the guild/friends, suicidal runs (your a lvl60 running with 2 lvl80 guildies) or just want to tag along while bored. this is the place to go.

I’ll see you next week ready to go again!

Seth,
