I hope I don’t give too much away about the podcast that’s getting recorded tomorrow so I’m shortening the length of this post. (hoping that I have less chance to mess up in 200 words then 400)
Podcast #3 will come out soonTM and we would love some reader questions!
If we have enough we can make a theme out of it to do every week, and who knows another “success” like why do you make gold will come out of it. having multiple bloggers pouring out on the same subject is always an interesting read!
So any questions that you want answered can be send to:
seth.onecopper AT gmail DOT com and Coffelord AT gmail DOT com
(depending on who you want the question to be asked)
or twittered to @onecopper or @coffelord. Questions may range from Gold to general wow to personal in some sort. Audio and text are “permitted”! Same goes for plugs! Do you have an audio plug for your blog/podcast just mail it!
To at least give you some insight to the upcoming podcast here’s a sneak peak in the form of single words:
proffesions – projects – new -competition – ideas
It’s going to be an interesting show indeed!

Ah, My Co-host Coffelord asked this question on the podcast and it seems that we are not the only ones asking that to ourselves.
Anaalius asked himself the question too and hits the mark with his latest post.
The same goes for Cold with his post on why he makes gold.
And last but not least my blogsphere buddy Zekta awnsered the question with flair! Have a look at his post!
Though we all have different yet similar reasons to make gold in the game, we are compelled by the Auction house, it’s our mistress. The thing that can smack us in the head when we make a wrong buy or love us gently when we claim our gold.
Have you awnsered the Question yet? If not, here’s your chance! send me a mail at seth.onecopper AT gmail DOT com with a post, or just link your thoughts right here in the comments!
Auctioneering is not just music it’s a way of life!… oh wait that’s something else…
carry on…
Edit: McRaffles has also written a post containing his urge to make gold, as an extra he gave a fair and very well written review of our podcast. Thank you McRaffles!

Due to unforseen circumstances the podcast will be out tomorrow or the day after. It has been recorded but I have to find the time to edit it!
Aaah another monday, another workweek and a new week to start ranting about WoW. However, the expansion is comming out and I see myself playing less and less WoW. I see myself posting less and less on the blog, and making myself less and less money. I have to admit that I just don’t find the reason to post or play anymore. You see fe. with the B2B guides, they are going to be useless once cata hits! Well not completely but still a large portion of what we know is going to change. No more farming on a tiger, no more “not selling green gear” no more icethorn selling etc etc. And if you know all that the only thing left to do is do your raids/daily’s and be done with it!
Do you see yourself not logging in to WoW when you used to just log in to check what was going on? Did you find a new mistress in the meantime (Like I found DDO) or are you still working hard to get your toon where you want it to be before the Xpansion?
At least one thing is sure: Either it’s going to be very expensive or we are going to make a lots of gold, however it turns out though, it started all with one copper.

I’ve been playing “a lot” of DDO lately, After Eve, WoW and FE I can say that DDO probably has the most inflated economy of them all, and EVE probably has the most extensive one.
What I can see though is that due to the lack of addons it’s easier to make money, yes I said it: EASIER.
The problem on WoW is that a lot of ppl use auctioneer, so a lot of sheep (dumb ppl) can see the prices by unit by percentage by what ever. Without the addons certain scams (selling 100 arrows instead of 1000) would be a lot easier. You could make a boatload of gold before the masses learn to read.
If we would lack the addons to clear our bags, to filter them, to post them etc. etc. the real bankers would have an easier time, back in Vanilla this was the case, I had 5000G and that was by far 10x as much as the others, I was probably the only banker on my server, because it took time, patience and a lot of “insight”.
The addons make our lives easier, but at the same time they hurt us.
How do you stand on them? Would you prefer to get rid of them and make more money the hard way? or would you like to keep them and let the rest of the wannabes meddle with our gold?
Discuss!

Ok so we had a lot of feedback on the podcast, and while most is good we still have a long way to go!
improvements comming in:
- less swearing
- less offtopic
- less euhm euhm euhm space
We are trying to “obey” your every wish but need your input! So if you think of anything else don’t be afraid to tell us!
Also….
twitter me @onecopper or mail me seth.onecopper@gmail.com to ask Questions that you want awnsered at the podcast!
It is meant to be interactive and that’s only possible if you are actually participating or at least interested in what we have to say.
And who is the better judge of that then yourself?
The same may also be done for posts! so again Don’t be afraid to mail/twitter me or comment on this post!
Gold post is comming up tomorrow, since I just did a 14h day and am still not at my 100% I decided to get off easy *smile*
That doesn’t mean I didn’t mean all this though!

Well not exactly errors, more of human mistakes.
I’ve been usingthe remote AH for a bit more then a week, and found at least 7 auctions with a buyout thats a mere 1% of the real value!
the 7 auctions came from 2 other people, and tbh I think they are going to do it again.
the mobile armory makes human errors about 50ish % more likely in my view, since there are no addons, no price history, it’s a small “window” and a small “keyboard”. This means that the chances are likely that the “real” bankers will have a good time when it’s released and when (if) it goes mainstream.
What do you think? Will we see our goldsacks grow bigger or is dis a threat?
